Who we are
This website is run by Foodverse FZ-LLC (“Foodverse”, “we”), which decides how and why your personal data is used (the data controller). The Professional Chef Foundation Program is a Worldchefs Academy programme delivered in collaboration with ICCA Dubai and EHTL Luxembourg on FV Learning, part of Foodverse.

What we collect and why

Registering is voluntary. You need to be 16 or older to register. We do not use your data for automated decisions that affect you.

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary unless you choose otherwise. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories runs until you agree. You can change your choice at any time with , also linked at the bottom of every page.

Photos and videos are delivered from Cloudflare R2 storage, which does not set cookies.
Who we share it with
- ICCA Dubai, our programme partner, to contact you about the programme you registered for.
- Service providers that host and run the site for us under contract: Amazon Web Services (servers, Singapore) and Cloudflare (file storage and backups).
- Google and Meta (including the Meta Conversions API Gateway that Foodverse runs on Google Cloud and AWS), only if you accept the related cookies.
We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Foodverse is based in the United Arab Emirates and our servers are in Singapore, so your data is processed outside the European Economic Area. Where a country does not have an EU adequacy decision, we protect your data with the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards allowed by the GDPR. You can ask us for a copy through the request form.
How long we keep it
- Academy registrations: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, and at most 24 months after the programme’s enrolment opens.
- Removal and privacy requests: up to 3 years, to show how we handled them.
- Cookie choices: the anonymous record for up to 3 years; the choice in your browser for 6 months, after which we ask again.
- Backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what we did before. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Luxembourg this is the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), cnpd.public.lu.
Unsubscribe from Academy emails
Enter the email you registered with. We stop emailing you and withdraw all the consents you gave on this site.
Make a privacy request
Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion or anything else. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.
